I read mixed reviews about this place. Anywhere from staff, the rooms, beds, etc. The staff was super nice and helpful. I gave it a 4 out of 5. Why? Because we had a half a roll of toilet paper but the front desk gave me more. The body wash in the shower was empty and the bath fan could use a cleaning and light fixtures in the room need dusted. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean. The beds were good. Not much to choose from here but we would stay again
Rooms and hotel were clean and comfy. The breakfast eggs, biscuits, gravy were only slightly warm both days. The warmers that they put those items in are just that - warmers. You can’t put cold food in them and expect it to reach a reasonable serving temp anytime soon. I was there 30 minutes to an hour after breakfast had started both days and food was barely room temp.
I had a wonderful stay at AmericInn and would definitely recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and made check-in a breeze. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, with plenty of fresh options to start the day. I also really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub—it was a great way to unwind. Overall, a great experience, and I’d happily stay here again!
Not a bad place. Can't say it's worth over $100/night. Room was clean. One bad not made quite straight but not an issue. Not the proper lid for the toilet tank. Breakfast is so so. Not a fan of processed egg patties. Gravy is only fair. I did like the bottles of body wash, shampoo etc in the shower. Staff is friendly
Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was great, lots of options. I’m would only give 4 stars because I was looking forward to the hot tub. Sad face. But otherwise everything was great.
My stay at the hotel was very nice and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and very clean and quiet. If I needed any thing the front desk was very helpful to take care of it. Will definitely stay at the hotel again. Thanks for a relaxing stay!
We had a great stay at the AmericInn Maquoketa. The staff were very friendly and super accommodating. We were graciously given an early check-in and late check-out. We were also upgraded to larger rooms for an extra nominal fee. The pool was clean and fun. The rooms were clean and spacious. I wish the mattress were a little softer but most hotels have hard mattresses. Everything else was fantastic.
Our room was very pleasant. Clean and comfortable. So quiet and enjoyable. Our room was like new condition. It was so much more than expected. Great price too!
